Congratulations to the Combined Concert Band for earning an “Excellent” Rating at the Music in the Parks Busch Gardens Williamsburg Festival.  Also congratulations to the Marching Lions on their performance at the festival as well.  This week the Concert and Symphonic Bands will put the finishing touches on the selections for the Spring Concert.  They will have normal class rehearsal today and tomorrow, dress rehearsal during 3rd period on Wednesday, and the Spring Concert at 7:00PM on Thursday.  The Jazz Band will only have rehearsal on Tuesday as they prepare for their own concert next week.

Looking ahead to next week, we will have the 18th Annual Queen Anne’s County Night of Jazz on Wednesday at 7:00PM in the QACHS Café and will feature the CMS Jazz Ensemble and the QACHS Jazz Ensemble.  On Thursday evening at 7:00 will be the May Band Parents meeting.
