Today we ring in the new year as we welcome in 2024. I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year and look forward to all that this new year has for our various ensembles here at QACHS. I thank everyone who supported us in 2023 in all that we were able to do and accomplish.

Tomorrow we will get back into the swing of things as we return from Winter Break. The Concert and Symphonic Bands will continue with their preparations for District Band Festival in March and the small ensembles will continue their preparations for Solo and Ensemble Festival next month. We will hold our full ensemble rehearsals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and use our rehearsal time on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our small ensembles. We will also begin our rehearsals with the Pit Orchestra getting ready for the Spring Musical production of Beauty and the Beast that will run the first two weekends in March.  There will also be an important Band Parent Meeting on Thursday evening this week as we will be electing our officers for 2024.

Tuesday – Pit Orchestra Rehearsal (2:35 – 4:45)

Wednesday – Pit Orchestra Rehearsal (2:35 – 4:45)

Thursday – Pit Orchestra Rehearsal (2:35 – 4:45)
Band Parent Meeting @ 7:00PM

Friday – No After School Rehearsals.
