This week the Symphonic and Concert Bands continue to prepare for the Pops Concert that will be in three weeks, on October 22nd. The Marching Band will have a very busy week performing at the various Homecoming activities as well as travel to Appoquinimink HS for their fourth competition of the season.  Also this week we will have the October Booster Meeting at 7:00PM on Thursday.  We will have the Fall Volunteer Training session for anyone planning to be a chaperone, either for a day (District S and E Festival, District Band Festival, or State Band Festival) or over night (Trip to Hershey for ACC’s or Spring Trip to Pigeon Forge, TN).  Those individuals should plan to attend as this is a requirement of the BOE.

This week the Concert and Symphonic Bands continue to prepare for the Pops Concert on October 16th.  The Marching Band will perform at home this week as we host the 2019 “Pride of the Eastern Shore” Invitational T.O.B. Competition on Saturday.  Details are below for those students that have signed up to help in the various capacities.

This week will be our first full week of school for everyone.  The Symphonic and Concert Bands are busy working on their music for the Pops Concert that will be on October 22nd.  The Marching Band will perform their first half-time show at the first home football game on Friday night.  The Marching Band will then travel to the Middletown High School T.O.B. Competition on Saturday.  This will be their first competition of the season.  A limited number of Pre-Sale tickets at a reduced price of $5 each, are available from Mr. Wright.  The money from the pre-sale tickets gets to stay with our program.  Just send in an envelope with the payment enclosed, and your name and number of tickets requested on the outside.  Please just tuck the flap on the inside and do not seal.

The packets containing the audition information for Jr. and Sr. All-State Band auditions will be available in the band room.  Please be sure to pick up a packet if you are interested in auditioning.
