We have finally made it to the last week of school!  As we finish up our last week of online learning, I have given the Symphonic and Concert Bands one more fun assignment for this week.  They have been provided some links to check out performances that are done on multiple instruments, but primarily by the same person.  During this time that we have all been away from one another, many schools had the technological means to have their students record themselves performing their personal part of a song, and then edit that along with the submissions from the other students together to make a virtual performance of that ensemble together, even though they were all separated in their own homes.  So, last week, they were checking out those performances.  But this week is the opposite scenario, in which one person recorded themselves playing different parts on different instruments and editing them all together to sound like an ensemble performing.  It is amazing what can be done in the world of music and technology!
