Today, the marching Lions Band is making its return from the Atlantic Coast Championships that were held in Hershey, PA yesterday.  Since this wraps up the marching band’s fall season of rehearsals and performances, this week we will shift our focus over to the Jazz Ensemble in preparation for the Winter Concert.  On Thursday we will begin Jazz Ensemble rehearsals that will be held after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Friday morning, the Combined Concert Band will be playing for the Centreville Veteran’s Day ceremony downtown in front of the Historic QA County Courthouse.  Students will need to wear black and white for this performance.  Ladies should wear a nice white blouse, a black skirt or dress pants, and closed-toed shoes.  Gentlemen should wear a white dress shirt (bow ties will be issued at school), black dress pants, and dress shoes.  Students will need to report at the beginning of second period and will return to class at the beginning of fourth period.

Tuesday  – No School – Election Day

Thursday  – Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal (2:35 – 4:45)

Friday – Concert Band Plays at the Centreville Veteran’s Day Ceremony (10:45) Students are to dress in Black and White.
