This week the Marching Lions Band begins Band Camp 2022.  Just a reminder that all remaining balances for band camp need to be paid at this time.  Also just a reminder that I would like to meet with all of the Marching Band Parents really quick at 4:30PM today, as you come to pick the kids up from camp.  I just want to go over a few logistical items with everyone before school stars and our season begins that we need to do to ensure a successful fall season.  We will meet really quick as the kids are finishing up and packing up for the day.

Here is what our schedule looks like this week:

Monday – Band Camp 8AM – 5PM (Student Leadership Meeting @ 7:30AM)
Marching Band Parents Meeting @ 4:30PM

Tuesday – Band Camp 8AM – 5PM (Student Leadership Meeting @ 7:30AM)

Wednesday – Band Camp 8AM – 5PM (Student Leadership Meeting @ 7:30AM)

Thursday – Band Camp 8AM – 5PM (Student Leadership Meeting @ 7:30AM)

Friday – Band Camp 8AM – 12:00 Noon (Student Leadership Meeting @ 7:30AM)
Tye-Dye Activity to follow dismissal from camp.  Be sure to bring whatever item you want to use for this activity.

We are down to one week before Band Camp begins.  Next week we will begin band camp and putting the show on the field.  Make sure that you are prepared with the following items in order to take care of yourself and to have a successful experience.  1) Hat  2) Sun Glasses  3) Sun Screen  4) Refillable water bottle or personal water cooler  5) Comfortable clothes to work and move in (t-shirt and shorts preferred)  6) Comfortable athletic shoes (sneakers) with socks  7) Instrument/equipment  8) Music  9) Pencil  10) LUNCH 11) A great attitude that is ready to listen, work hard, and grow through this experience while making the 2022 Marching Lions Band the best it can be.

This week we return back to our regular Wednesday night Marching Band rehearsals with everyone.  Band Camp begins in two weeks!

Happy 4th of July!

This week our Wednesday night Marching Band rehearsals continue with the Percussion and Color Guard reporting once again at 5:00PM.  There will be no Leadership Team Meeting at 5:30.  Next week we will return back to our regular weekly schedule that includes everyone with a leadership team meeting.  Band Camp begins in three weeks!
