Update for the Week of 1/17/22 – 1/21/22

This week the students have a short three day week due to being off today for MLK Day and then off again on Friday due to Teacher Professional Development.  However, at the same time it will be a busy week due to the fact that we will finish up the first semester with final exams.  Tomorrow, we will stay in our first Hybrid classes for all of third period, as it will only be the midpoint of the year for those courses, and will allow for the midpoint assessments.  On Wednesday we will have the final exams for periods 1 and 2 with a 12:45 dismissal.  On Thursday will be the exams for periods 3 and 4, as well as the midpoint assessments for the Hybrid 2 classes with another early dismissal day at 1:00 PM.  We will only have a Pit Orchestra rehearsal after school on Tuesday due to the fact that it will be the only regular dismissal day.  In both of the classes during the day, we will continue our preparations for Solo and Ensemble Festival and District Band Festival.

Next week the kids will be off once again on Monday for the second Teacher Professional Development day.  Second Semester will begin on Tuesday.  Next Saturday will be the All-Shore Band auditions at Colonel Richardson High School.

Here is what our schedule looks like this week.
