This week we find ourselves off from school unexpectedly due to the Corona Virus Outbreak in the US and it’s rapid spread.  So, with hope we will look forward to being back together and with a normal week’s schedule in two weeks.

Some sad news that I want to share is that due to many different factors, the Maryland Music Education Association and the Maryland Band Directors Association have had to make the difficult decision that there will not be a State Band Festival for the large Concert Ensembles at the end of April and no State Solo and Ensemble Festival in May.

At this time, I don’t have a definite decision on All-Shore that is to be held at QACHS on April 3rd and 4th.

Additionally, a final decision has also not been made on the status of our Spring Trip to Tennessee.  That decision will have to be made by the end of this week, so I will share that with you once it has been made via email, as well as in next week’s blog post.
